9. Diploma in Electronics KCSE Mean Grade C (plain) or its equivalent with C (Plain) inPhysics /Physical Sciences and C- (Minus) in Mathematics.
10. Bridging Course in: §   Physics §   Mathematics §   Chemistry KCSE Mean grade C+ (Plus) or an equivalent qualification with at least C- (Minus) in Physics/ Chemistry/Mathematics.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Holders of at least an upper second class honors degree or its equivalent in a relevant field OR a lower second class with at least two years working experience, OR a pass degree with at least five years working experience, and/or having relevant professional qualifications.

Doctor of Philosophy in: §   Dryland Resource Management Holders of a B.Sc. with at least upper Second Class Honors oritsequivalent in Agricultural economics/Agricultural/ Biological / Environmental Sciences, Forestry or other relevant disciplines OR a Lower Second Class Honors in the above with Postgraduate Diploma or two years working experience OR a Pass in the above with  Postgraduate Diploma and five years working experience.

19. Master of Science in Comparative Mammalian Physiology Holders of Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences /Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery/Bachelor of Phar-macy with at least a Credit in Physiology ORa B.Sc. in Zoology with at least a Credit in Vertebrate Physiology.

Master of Science in Reproductive Biology Holders of B.Sc. with at least upper second class honors inBiochemistry, Zoology, Physiology, Biology or Anatomy OR Bachelor Veterinary Scienceswith at least a Credit pass in one of the relevant subjects OR a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery/Bachelor of Phar-macy with at least a Credit pass in one of the relevant subjects.

34 Doctor of Philosophy in: §   Environmental Management Holders of a masters’ degree from SEKU or its equivalent from the University recognized by SEKU senate in Environmental Management, Environmental Studies/Sciences, Natural Resources Management, and in any relevant related areas OR Holders of masters’ degree in relevant engineering recommended by the school board and approved by SEKU Senate
35. Doctor of Philosophy in: ·          Climate Change & Agroforestry holder of Master’s degree of South Eastern Kenya University or its equivalent from a University recognized by SEKU Senate in  forestry/agroforestry, climate change, land resources, environmental studies/sciences, natural resources management, relevant agricultural sciences, environmental engineering, law, environmental education and, geography. ORMaster’s degree in relevant social sciences and engineering recommended by the School Board and approved by SEKU Senate.
36. Master of Science in : §   Environmental Management Holders of B.Sc. with at least an upper second class honors in Basic and Applied Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources Management, Public Health ,Resource Economics, Environmental Engineering, Law, Environmental Education, Geography and relevant Social Sciences OR a Lower Second Class honors on any of the areas specified above with at least two years relevant work experience or a postgraduate diploma in any of the areas listed above OR a Pass degree in the disciplines specified above plus a Postgraduate Diploma in any field related to Environment and Natural Resources Management and at least five years’ work experience.
37. Master of Science in : ·          Climate Change & Agroforestry 1.3.1 Holders of a Bachelor of Science degree with at least an Upper Second Class Honours in basic and applied sciences, forestry/agroforestry, climate change, land resources, environmental studies/sciences, natural resources management, agricultural sciences, public health, resource economics, environmental engineering, law, environmental education, geography and relevant social sciences among other relevant disciplines or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by Senate. 1.3.2 Holders of a Bachelor of Science degree with Lower Second Class Honours in any of the areas specified in 1.3.1 above with at least two years relevant work experience or a postgraduate diploma in any of the areas listed in 1.3.1 above or equivalent qualification from an institution
recognized by Senate. 1.3.3 Holders of a pass degree in the disciplines specified in 1.3.1 above plus a post-graduate diploma in any field related to forestry, land resources, environment and natural resources management and at least five years’ work experience.

Bachelor of Science in: §   Environmental Conservation & Natural Resources Mgt. §   Environmental Management §   Forestry KCSE Mean Grade C+ (Plus) or its equivalent with at least C+ (Plus) in Biology/Biological sciences, and a minimum of C (Plain) in Chemistry and Physics/Physical Sciences and Mathematics.
SCHOOL OF EDUCATION
39. Master of Education Regular and Institution (School) Based with Options of: Curriculum Studies Educational Administration Educational Planning Economics of Education Educational Psychology Holders of a B.Ed. degree with two subjects studied at secondary level or Primary and Diploma Teacher Training Colleges OR any other Bachelor’s degree with at least an Upper Second class honors and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) ORB.Ed. Lower Second class honors and two years of work experience. Applicants who wish to specialize in Economics of Education or Educational Planning must have studied Economics or Business Studies as a subject in their Bachelor’s degree.
38. Bachelor of Education (Arts) (English and Literature, Kiswahili, History, Christian Religious Education, Geography, Business Studies) Bachelor of Education (Science) (Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry) Regular and Institution (School) Based KCSE Mean Grade C+ (Plus) orits equivalent OR a Trained Primary School Teacher of P1 grade with minimum three years working experience and a minimum of KCSE Mean Grade C (Plain). Applicants for B.Ed (Science) should in addition have attained C+ (Plus) in at least two Science subjects.
